What's Sound Branding?

 

Sound branding is the audio portion of your brand. You have the visuals - like fonts, colors, motion, etc. Another element is the audio. Including audio in your overall branding provides your customers/readers/viewers/clients with a more complete experience of your brand. Most often, sonic branding comes in the form of a sonic logo, or a short, distinctive melody or a sequence of sounds that is typically placed in the beginning or end of a commercial. It is the sound equivalent of a graphic logo.
